LGBTQ+ Wedding Vendors in NYC
10 years in the wedding industry and I've built THE list of the best wedding vendors in NYC. These are the vendors who I love working with, want to lift up, and trust with my marriers' weddings.
This round-up is the LGBTQ+ crew. Planners, tailors, jewelers, florists, DJs, drag legends. If you're planning a wedding and want a team that gets you without having to explain yourself, start here.

Are you dreaming of a wedding that's as unique as your love story? Look no further! I'm Jamie Joy, your go-to exuberant wedding coordinator, and I'm ready to bring your fantasies into reality.
Working with Me
Fun: I want you to enjoy the process as much as the big event. From brainstorming unforgettable themes to organizing one-of-a-kind entertainment, I'm all about keeping the excitement alive.
Relaxed: Planning a wedding should be fulfilling, not stressful! I bring a calming presence to the table, ensuring you can sit back and cherish the moment.
Focused: Your wedding is my priority. I'll work closely with you to understand your vision, preferences, and budget, ensuring every detail reflects your style and your relationship.
Let’s get to know each other more! I can't wait to meet you and hear all about your love story
After years of planning events, I noticed the more that an industry professional was deemed an “expert” with regard to their hard skills, the less they seemed to value the expertise of lived experience, whether that be with their clients, their vendor teams, or even their own teams. “Upscale” became synonymous with “homogenous & exclusive”; there was a clear devaluing of the ways professionals with marginalized identities could bring a unique perspective to their client’s special day. Similarly, I noticed clients with marginalized identities were given cookie-cutter experiences that often missed the opportunity for their day to be as unique as they are.
I founded withMavens Events to shake up the wedding & events industry. I envision a world where event “expertise” goes beyond teachable skills & includes the ways lived experience influences how we approach our craft. No two relationships have the same love story, so why should they receive a one-size-fits-all approach to planning their big day?
Jove Meyer is a true visionary of joy. For the spaces we call home and the ones that house life’s biggest moments, he crafts a vivid, colorful world inspired by his clients who dare to be different. Meyer set out to build a global design firm antithetical to his conservative and rigid upbringing by encouraging authenticity, celebrating diversity, and empowering marginalized communities. As a result, his work has been featured in Domino, Good Morning America, The Magnolia Network, The New York Times, Rachael Ray Magazine, and Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar and Martha Stewart named him one of the top wedding planners in the world.
At Campbell Events we don’t just plan weddings, we craft experiences that feel like you from the inside out. We believe that your wedding should reflect who you are. What makes us different starts with how we show up for our couples. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but our goal is to bring a sense of calm and confidence to the process. Our team is known for being organized, detail-obsessed, and genuinely fun to work with. We’re not just timeline creators, we are your trusted advocates. After ten years we know the questions to ask, the vendors to call, and the moments that matter most.
My mission is to honor your love by creating a celebration that feels true, joyful, and deeply personal. I center queer and nontraditional love with care and affirmation, shaping spaces where you can feel fully seen and at ease. Together, we plan with intention and warmth so your wedding feels like the truest expression of who you are.
We are New Jersey's premier LGBTQ, wife-and-wife wedding planning team, best friends, and the heart behind The Butterfly Effect Weddings.
“We're Latine sibling wedding officiants passionate about storytelling, inclusivity, and making sure your wedding ceremony reflects you. Based in New York City and Boston, we specialize in bilingual wedding ceremonies, custom vow renewals, and fun, meaningful elopements.
We believe that love is the universal language that connects us all and it’s in divisive times, like these, that we must spread love as far and wide as humanly possible. For us that means being inclusive, non-judgmental siblings who enthusiastically celebrate the awesomeness of your love story. We excitedly officiate ceremonies for same sex couples, interracial couples, interfaith couples, multicultural couples, and those who have historically been denied the basic human right to love and marry.”
